MEGA Legacy Saturday - Top 8 Decklists

 For the first time ever at an Axion Now weekend event, we offered you the chance to play top-level Legacy, for incredible prizes on both Saturday and Sunday! You responded fantastically and eager Legacy players flocked to The Gathering from across the UK and Europe. As a bonus incentive to play in both events, we offered "Legacy Weekend Warrior" prize where whoever finished with the highest combined points total from the Swiss portion of the events would walk away with a complete set of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Ampersand Promos! (You'll have to check Sunday's decklists for the winner of that!). We also offered our (in)famous 'Bonus' Top 8s to keep the excitement of great prizes to play for going on longer and for more people.

As you might expect from a format with so many diverse decks, there was a healthy variety of archetypes making the Top 8. The most commonly represented archetype in the Top 8 was Yorion Zenith, with 2 copies making the cut although both fell at the quarter-final stages. After 3 hard fought elimination rounds Jasper Murison Bowie was crowned champion of Saturday's MEGA Legacy and won an invite to the European Legacy Masters series!
