MEGA Legacy Sunday - Top 8 Decklists

On day 2 of The Gathering, another chance to win big at Legacy presented itself to a room of eager players. For some players in the room, they were also beginning to dream of winning the 'Legacy Weekend Warrior' prize of a full set of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Ampersand promos. The dream would prove to be a reality for one player, who stood above all others in the points race at the end of the weekend: Anders Thisen. The journey wasn't without struggle, and, with the opportunity of making a second Top 8 requiring only an Intentional Draw to achieve, Anders risked it all to play and win the Ampersand set for himself! A very big congratulations from us of a masterful display of Legacy across the weekend!

Anders wasn't the only Saturday player to make back-to-back Top 8s however, with Andy Fernandes taking down Sunday's event after an impressive semi-final appearance on Saturday and winning an invite to the Legacy European Masters series. Similarly to Saturday, Sunday also showed a diverse range of archetypes in the Top 8. There were some interesting new cards on display as well, from Mawloc (a Tyrannid from the recent 40K Commander decks) and ____ Goblin, which unfortunately our website cannot display a preview image of so I have inserted one below. 

 The ____ Goblin is from the recent Unfinity set and utilises the controversial 'sticker' mechanic. Let's hope James keeps hold of those sticker sheets that served him so well!
