Modern for Goodies - March 2022 - Decklists

A brave band of intrepid Magickers venture out to Modern for Goodies in March. Everyone fought hard but eventually a Top 8 players was found!

We found a worthy winner in Tony Tong, who walked away with an Underground Sea!

The rest of our Top 8 were happy to walk away with a Set Booster Box of Modern Horizons 2. 

In fact, one player was so happy that he left with his box without even sitting down to play a game in the Top 8!

On Sunday there was a wide range of decks on display, which carried through to the Top 8, with only Temur Rhinos putting multiple copies into the Top 8. Amulet Titan made its presence felt once again, with a familiar pilot in Jamie Robertson making his second consecutive Top 8. Will he manage to make it a hat trick? We also saw familiar decks in Grixis Shadow, which still proves to be a powerful force in Modern even without the powerhouse that was Lurrus. 

We ran our (in)famous Rebound event during the day for the players who didn't find Lady Luck shining on them from the start. Every player this time around walked away with one of each of the Love Your Local Game Store promos, just for signing up, whilst Rocco Vettese proved that even fourth place in our side events get handsomely rewarded when he pulled a Japanese Mystical Archive Demonic Tutor from his Strixhaven Collector Booster prizes!
